This has been the most cited book in pilgrimage studies for the last five years, so what follows in this episode is a take-no-prisoners assault on its deconstruction of sacred travel & problematization of the communitas of the holy road. This show is a fireball! (OSGH executive committee member, Brick, calls in to talk about our new website and make jokes, too.) As if that was not enuff, the show culminates with a “field report” from Cornwall by returning OSGH camino correspondent, Matthew (from s3 ep2)!
